S-80 Plus Submarine Series

The S-80 Plus Series represents a technological leap in the design and construction of submarines, placing Spain at the forefront of naval engineering. This project, developed by Navantia in collaboration with Techno Pro Hispania, involves the creation of next-generation submarines, optimized for long-duration operations and complex missions.

Highlighted Features

  • Advanced Design: The S-80 Plus submarines feature a unique, streamlined hull design, capable of reducing water resistance and increasing maneuverability. The detailed engineering applied ensures quiet and efficient operation.

  • AIP (Air Independent Propulsion) System: This system allows the submarine to operate submerged for extended periods, increasing its autonomy and ability to carry out intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. The S-80 Plus is a pioneer in integrating this technology into conventional submarines.

  • High Operating Capacity: Thanks to their cutting-edge equipment and integrated systems, the S-80 Series submarines are ready to perform a wide range of missions, from maritime defense and security to special operations. The IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System) provides complete and efficient control of all onboard systems.

Our Contribution

Techno Pro Hispania has provided its naval engineering expertise throughout all phases of the project. From conceptual and detailed engineering to design and simulation, our team has worked closely with Navantia to ensure the success of the S-80 Plus. We have provided innovative solutions in system integration, software design, logistics support and NATO cataloging, helping the submarine meet the most demanding industry standards.

Innovation and Technology

The S-80 Plus project is a benchmark in innovation, integrating cutting-edge systems in control, propulsion and safety. The inclusion of advanced 3D design, simulation and analysis technologies has allowed the submarine's performance and safety to be optimised, adapting it to the current needs of naval forces.
